Based on a unique ergonomic form that only requires a single hand operation, it enhances comfort when shooting for long periods of time. Offering a simple operation and comfortable use for beginners, brilliantly detailed images are produced off its 9.1 megapixels CCD sensor. A large 2.5-inch LCD monitor gives simple and easy menu and image viewing while the newly developed 5x optical zoom extends your optical reach to distant subjects. An Image Stabiliser is provided for blur-free results.

Face Chaser Function recognizes up to 12 faces for still images and provides optimum focus and exposure for every portrait shot taken. A Super Macro mode allows clear photos to be taken even at 1cm away. Still images can be taken simultaneously as movie recording, without stopping or pausing. A ‘Talking Navigation’ is provided as a function that informs you of camera status and other warnings such as low battery for instance. Recording movies in the high quality MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, Wind Noise Reduction is also featured to reduce unwanted wind noise when recording movies.
